My Eddie Izzard gathering is tonight!!! I'm so excited! I hope all goes well. I just can't wait to laugh. Eddie is always fun to watch with new people. I just hope someone speaks french!

It's relatively quiet at Provinces today. Everyone is on the computers. Time is going VERY SLOWLY. I brought a peach to eat on my 15 minute break, my tummy is all rumbly. I finished Secrets of the Jedi this morning while eating my apple jacks. Yes, I read HBP the rest of the day, but I have been so insanely close to the end of that book for so long now, I just wanted to return it! Plus I have 6 items on hold right now that I need to pick out (though 2 of them are just the RotS picture books I ordered back in May). Volume 2 of Y the last man finally came in!!! I've had Vol 3 forever, I was worried I'd have to return it before 2 showed up! I shall be picking that up tomorrow.

Babysitting last night went well. I managed to find a copy of Clone Wars at Crofton, so we watched that. I think they enjoyed it. It really is a good vegging out thing to watch, all action, no plot. haha. Then we went online and printed out "how to draw" star wars stuff from starwars.com. Skylor drew a General Greivous and an Obi-Wan. Snowden colored in Padme. We read a little bit of the first HP, which Skylor has just started reading with his mom. Well, I read at him. I think he pretty much spaced out. Good times. I was so tired when I got home, I ate a little bit of dinner then passed out.

and now I'm here. Watching the clock. Is it time to go sooooon?

Eddie and Yorick? That's nice!

I just got back from a friend's house. I mention Eddie, and she says, "NO EDDIE IZZARD!" She doesn't like the foul-mouthed guy in the dress. Heather likes him. Erin doesn't.

I haven't shown Kim yet.

But I did show her Y-The Last Man today. Just for frame 2 of page 1 of each issue, where the "screen" cinematically goes blank for the caption. I've always liked that part.

see, usually I'm not big on comedians who swear, but Eddie doesn't swear in a crude way. Some people say the 'F' word in mean ways and insulting or just gross ways, but Eddie just says it in a totally random kinda way. *shrugs* I dunno. I love eddie though, the gathering went well, lots of giggling and requests for a second get together to get into another show.

I'm so freakin HAPPY that Y showed up. When I went to look for 'Serenity' the other day, the comic shop had all the Y trade paperbacks on display. I was *this* close to breaking down and buying them so I could read it. But I resisted -- it was a good thing it showed up on my library card the next day! haha.

I think Kim would like Eddie, he's got a groovy way of thinking and she seems like a groovy chick.

Sorry to BUT in...heehee...but did you end up getting the Serenity comic book? Every freakin week since it's release it's been selling out within hours over here! They can't keep it on the shelf. We're not comic book people but we, especially J, really wanted to own a copy ¬_¬

omg, icon love! haha.

Anyway, no luck yet, but that's mostly my fault as I keep forgetting the comic shop doesn't open until 12 and I end up being "in the area" at 11 and just having to drive home. I have a bad feeling this will be a Trade Paperback purchase. I'm not giving up yet.

Hey you, I was wondering if I could request an icon again. I know I stopped using your other one, but I am an icon whore. LOL...

Anyway, do you have season 7 yet? If so, could you make me an animated one from "Chosen" that has Buffy rising up and says 'I want you...to get out of my face' followed by the shot of her getting the sithe back, then knocking those 5 vamps off the cliff? I dunno if that's insanely complicated.

Hm...I'll have to take a look at the scene and see how long it is. Gotta keep them under 40k, which can make animated icons difficult. But I shall give it a try. :-) Just be patient with me as my work week is a bit zany right now haha.

yes, now I have an excuse to watch 'Chosen' ! hehe

Hope your Eddie Izzard night went well. I remember my sides were hurting when I first watched that comedy special. Do you have the copy with the little skit at the begining about "Alcatraz"? LOL, I was dying!

Loved your meme, so I used it to procrastinate this evening!:D

haha yes, I do, it's on the front of the "dress to kill" dvd. We were cracking up because it's just so random! We only made it thru one DVD then we got distracted with chatting and harry potter talk. So I have decided to have at least 4 more parties to get through all of his shows. :-) Maybe by then SEXIE will be out in the US!

Oooh, I'll have to go read my flist to see your version of the meme!

some of the "how to draw" stuff is a little bit step 1 draw circle, step 2 draw some lines, step 3 miracle occurs here, step 4 LOOK it's grievous! But there are a few that actually seem possible even if you don't work for Lucasfilm hehe.
