Thursday night TV

30 Rock was okay. Not really a laugh riot, though I loved that Liz's attraction to Denny was likened to freezing to death.

Scrubs was quality, as usual. The janitor was particularly weird but its a comedy, I know this, you know this, let's just laugh and have fun. (Oh, and on a random note, Dr. Kelso had a 30 second part in 'Gone in 60 Seconds')

The Office. Um. What can I say? Whoever is in charge of writing the Michael plot lines, please stop. He's gone from sympathetic to just pathetic. The only good part of his whole storyline was the musical number. The best parts of tonight's episode was the interactions between Jim & Pam. The writers have managed to keep their relationship as fun as season 1 but still have them be a couple.


And yes, I was tricked, just like Pam was. I was like "What, you can't do that in the middle of the road!" and then Jim did a little quiet voice "Pam, can you wait a moment..." Pause, the fans/Pam hold their breath - "while I tie my shoe." Same reaction as Pam too - "I hate you." LOL!!!!

but OMG JIM I love him so much - "I bought it a week after we started going out." aaaaaaaaaaw. So adorable.

I think I watched the first season of the Office, I thought it was really funny, but just like with every other show that is on TV now, I never kept up with it. Do you like the British one? They are both good, but I actually like that one better, if only because of Ricky Gervais (he is just too much!!).

Another random note: Dr. Kelso was also in one of the first Season 3 episodes of Star Trek: TNG! (Go Picard!! lol)

I've seen a couple of the British Office but I prefer the American one. I want to watch 'Extras' though, its on my Netflix list.

Last week I only half watched 30 Rock, but I paid attention this week and was like OK, I'm sold. So if it gets better than this- bonus! I liked that exchange about what love is- "Love is being yourself", "No, love is sleeping in your makeup", etc. I want the whole list- I'll have to watch it again online.

I don't have much to say about the Office. The last two shows have been ok, at least not unwatchable like earlier shows this season. But maybe they need to wrap this one up soon, like, let Jim and Pam get married and then be done with it. Oh- I remember now what made me laugh- that call to Wendy's. For some reason that cracked me up.

30 Rock does get better. That episode would probably be considered a mid-range 30 Rock.

I think Office should end soon, especially if they have Jim and Pam get married. That should be the final episode. The phone call the Wendy's was pretty hilarious just because you wanted to see how the poor person on the other end handled it. I enjoyed 'American Pie' too but the rest of Michael's plot was just too odd.

Sam I am TOTALLY with you on the Jim and Pam thing Mom and I were watching the latest episode downstairs and could not help ourselves with the "awwwww." lol

And Raven, upstairs in her room, SO CUTE, you could hear her giggling and laughing all by herself.
