Day 19 - Best t.v show cast

The crew of the Battlestar Galactica. The actors on that show acted the frak out of EVERY SINGLE SCENE! So many moments of joy, sadness, excitement...and it always felt so natural. They felt like a team, a family.

Runners up would be:
The crew of Firefly
Team Angel
Buffy and the Scoobies
(wow am I a broken Whedon-fangirl record or what?)

Day 20 - Favorite kiss

Even though I don't watch 'The Office' anymore, the dynamics of Jim & Pam in the first 3 seasons was what kept me watching. She was engaged, and Jim was in love with her from the moment he saw her. We knew, we thought she probably new, and in this episode, when he walked up to her and pulled her into his arms after the office party...it's still a beautiful moment.

Runner's Up:
AD's vote ---> Luke & Lorelai's first kiss
Laura Roslin and Adama's kiss "The Oath"

the next 10 days, almost done! )

30 Rock was okay. Not really a laugh riot, though I loved that Liz's attraction to Denny was likened to freezing to death.

Scrubs was quality, as usual. The janitor was particularly weird but its a comedy, I know this, you know this, let's just laugh and have fun. (Oh, and on a random note, Dr. Kelso had a 30 second part in 'Gone in 60 Seconds')

The Office. Um. What can I say? Whoever is in charge of writing the Michael plot lines, please stop. He's gone from sympathetic to just pathetic. The only good part of his whole storyline was the musical number. The best parts of tonight's episode was the interactions between Jim & Pam. The writers have managed to keep their relationship as fun as season 1 but still have them be a couple.

I am SURROUNDED by boxes. Big ones, little ones, full ones, empty ones. It's a frakkin' obstacle course to get anywhere in here right now. I may have to take a picture and post it before we take down the computers tomorrow.

I have to say THANK YOU to [livejournal.com profile] heiland_coo. I had my "Graphic Novels for Grown-Ups" program today, and I had a bad feeling no one would show up. Usually I get questions about my programs, but no one ever said anything about this. So when 7:10 rolled around tonight and no one was in the room, I wasn't totally shocked. But [livejournal.com profile] heiland_coo was nice enough to sneak away from the desk and let me run thru the program so I could at least say I did it. And considering she's heard me ramble on about comic books on several other occasions, she was very brave to come sit in that room all by her lonesome hehe.

Also, congrats to both [livejournal.com profile] maybemanda and [livejournal.com profile] spitefairy - they both got engaged today (erm, not to each other)!

I felt that 'The Office' tonight was AWESOME! I didn't realize it was an hour until I was fast forwarding thru commercials and noticed I was at the 27 minute mark and only half way to the end!

MAJOR spoilers )

Oh, and what was that crap movie that Jim is in? What a waste of his talent! Mandy Moore? ew. Robin Williams? ew. John Krasinski is so talented, ugh. Maybe he just wanted to meet Robin Williams or something. I hope so. God, that commercial made me cringe.

'Veronica Mars' is officially canceled now. I think the CW is making a huge mistake, since they really don't have a whole lot else going for them right now. One quality show does not a network make. Oh well. At least I can look forward to 'Fanboys' (which has apparently been pushed back to a January release date??? WTFrak!)

Because I know this will make me laugh ever time I watch it:

Also, I suck at making text only icons, but I made some anyway )

'The Office' this week was so very good. So many little things. I have to say, it is probably the most complex 25 minutes of TV out there right now. All in one episode you have moments of hilarity, of ridiculousness, of happiness, of silliness, of anger, and sadness. And characters with SO many layers, it's just amazing.

Also, I attempted to watch a little bit of Rainn "Dwight" Wilson's guest hosting on SNL...good to know that show is still un-funny. Yes, them parodying 'Office' right off the bat, now that was giggleworthy, but the next 3 sketches were just painfully bad. I couldn't survive the rest of the show. Ugh. What a waste of TV time.
