So, I put off pre-ordering Bioshock 2 for too long. For some reason I kept thinking the release date was the end of February, closer to my birthday. But it's next week. I want the Limited Edition version which comes with extra awesome (music CD, art prints and other random stuff). I went to Gamestop's website and it's not even listed. I Googled around and found out that Gamestop has already sold out of the Xbox version (there are plenty of PS3 apparently but I want it for Xbox in case I want to play online).

So I'm doing the unthinkable, I'm ordering it from Amazon...and I'm actually PAYING for shipping!!!! Unfortunately, since it's the Limited Edition, they are not doing the "delivered on release day" thing. So I forked over the extra $3 to get it delivered in 2 days. So I should have it for next weekend, which is fine because if it arrives on Friday I can play all night. Of course, I work Saturday and then Farpoint is on Sunday (erm, which I have yet to buy a ticket too...)

Whatever, I'm saving at least this much on my commute now, right? I was able to drive 2 weeks on half a tank of gas and I didn't have to fill up until today.

Still, I'm kicking myself. But at least I should have Mass Effect 2 later this week to keep my distracted...and I started over on DragonAge...but I'll post about that later...

Friday, I pre-ordered (and fully paid for) Bioshock 2 (so's we can play together) and I even bought Mass Effect 2.

Oh and a used mic for singing to my Rock Band.

So now that I am unemployed, I expect to be kept amused.

Just FYI.

(Also I want to play the fat ugly fisherman dude. lol)

we will have to set up a Rock Band night with you, me, and Amy. We could start a new band and rock the world! hehe. Or maybe play 1 vs 100 together just because trivia is fun late at night.

Totally. :D My mic doesn't seem to pick up on Rock Band 1, but my guitar does. lol. Also I am totally game for 1 v 100. I have no idea what to do, but with ya'll on the headset or whatever it would be a lot easier.

I know, right? I want to waddle around with my fisherman! XD

I've actually had really good luck with games from Amazon.. I got the collector's editions of both WoW and Wrath from them on the one day shipping, and got them same day, even though they weren't guaranteed.
