need a little Christmas...

YAY! I haz a tree!...okay I've had the tree up and decorated since Saturday but forgot to post about it. :) maybedeadcat and his daughter came over and helped me cover it in ornaments. I snagged two boxes of Disney ornaments from my parents so there are a LOT of animated characters on that tree. Also found my favorite ornament from my childhood - angel Garfield!



Bad news though - my printer has decided to crap out on me. No idea what it's problem is. Gave me a vague error message and would do nothing. maybedeadcat fought with it for an hour or so and it pretended to be fixed...but when you press print, it makes all the right noises then just spits out a blank page :( Boo. So much for my homemade cards.

Good news is that I *think* the mix CD is done. I listened to the first version on my car today and realized I forgot one song completely and wanted to use a different mix of another. So yes, now I think it is where i want it. :) Hopefully you all will like it.

Hm, it's after midnight, I need to get to bed! THIS TIME TOMORROW I WILL BE WATCHING THE HOBBIT!!!!EEEEEEEE!!!!

Pretty tree!! I love that it's mostly Disney and cartoony. That's awesome. And the Hobbit!! Everyone on my f'list is seeing it this week, I think. I can't wait until Alex and I have a sitter so we can goooo.

I will keep all the spoilers under a cut, I promise. :D I haven't wanted to see a movie at midnight since Hunger Games. I hope we have a good crowd, even if it's just 2D (I do not like 3D, hate wearing glasses over my glasses)

I get frustrated with 3D too. In Oklahoma we had a really great theater that had good 3D, but even then it was a bit of a hassle.

We're going on Saturday so we can go with a friend who's all grown up and married now and was only a 14 yr. old little kid when the first ones came out. HOW did that happen?! Hehe

I KNOW! I was trying to remember who I saw the first movie with and I realized it was my high school friends. So long ago...which is why I'm paranoid about getting their early! When we were young and foolish, we got to the show really late and ended up having to sit in the front row, not something you want to do at a movie that is 80% close ups LOL!
