I am SURROUNDED by boxes. Big ones, little ones, full ones, empty ones. It's a frakkin' obstacle course to get anywhere in here right now. I may have to take a picture and post it before we take down the computers tomorrow.

I have to say THANK YOU to heiland_coo. I had my "Graphic Novels for Grown-Ups" program today, and I had a bad feeling no one would show up. Usually I get questions about my programs, but no one ever said anything about this. So when 7:10 rolled around tonight and no one was in the room, I wasn't totally shocked. But heiland_coo was nice enough to sneak away from the desk and let me run thru the program so I could at least say I did it. And considering she's heard me ramble on about comic books on several other occasions, she was very brave to come sit in that room all by her lonesome hehe.

Also, congrats to both maybemanda and spitefairy - they both got engaged today (erm, not to each other)!

I felt that 'The Office' tonight was AWESOME! I didn't realize it was an hour until I was fast forwarding thru commercials and noticed I was at the 27 minute mark and only half way to the end!

Oh, and what was that crap movie that Jim is in? What a waste of his talent! Mandy Moore? ew. Robin Williams? ew. John Krasinski is so talented, ugh. Maybe he just wanted to meet Robin Williams or something. I hope so. God, that commercial made me cringe.

'Veronica Mars' is officially canceled now. I think the CW is making a huge mistake, since they really don't have a whole lot else going for them right now. One quality show does not a network make. Oh well. At least I can look forward to 'Fanboys' (which has apparently been pushed back to a January release date??? WTFrak!)

In my last post, I said that Nathan Fillion had posted to his MySpace blog, and vertigozooropa and shinetastic cried because they do not have MySpace accounts and cannot see the blog (I also think vertigozooropa inferred that I have STDs and genital fungus...but we'll let that slide).

Anyhoo, I shall take pity and repost his blurb here...and under the cut you can find some of his older posts too! (dear god MySpace sucks, I cannot even TELL you how many times my browser has crashed in the 5 minutes I've been trying to log into the gorram site...you guys OWE me!)

I'm real pleased with the showand can't say what it means to read you guys'es comments about how youcompletely dig the same parts I do. That Melanie Lynski kills me!Anyway, I had a bunch of the cast over Sunday for the big show and wewere all really psyched. Especially me, because I get to drive thecoolest car, obviously.
I know what you are saying. "What do I donow, Nathan?" Well, I'm glad you asked. I heard there was a blackout inthe northeastern states. If this is true, it's probably prudent, nay,necessary- that we somehow rub their faces in it and let them know whatthey missed. We have the power of the interweb. It is up to us to abuseit. Think of it: Drive infiltrates computers everywhere. And everyonehas a computer except most grandmas, which doesn't matter because ourdata shows that we have 83% of grandmas without computers.

time for me to start stressing about hair cuts.

...wait what did you think the subject line meant?

Yeah, Sammo wants a new look for 2007. But I can't decide whether I should keep my hair shortish or try and grow it out. Problem with growing it out is the awkward stage (about where my hair is now) when it looks funky and like crap if I don't do something with it. But it's too short to put up, but too out of it to wear down.

I'm thinking I might go in and ask them to even it out a bit so I can grow it out and have it look decent.

So I have two pics I'm staring at right now (both of Kristen Bell, of course) and I'm trying to decide which style to go for.



The picture on the left is Kristen's current long hair look, one that I would have to be patient and try to achieve without going crazy. The one on the right is from a test photoshoot when they were trying out haircuts on Kristen, hoping to find Veronica's "look". I probably wouldn't get the streaks and such, but the length and the general style, I like (I enjoy that crazy feathered look).

I haven't had long hair in ages, I usually break down and chop it all off. But it's actually winter, and I usually try to pull this stuff in summer and get too warm and want to have short hair again. And I'm getting the hang of the whole blow dryer and styling thing when I do my "flippy" look on Tuesdays and Thursdays (don't have to be at work until 12:30 those days, so I have time to mess with my hair). I think I could pull it off. Maybe.

As always, I'm looking for comments, hints, suggestions, other pics of other people with cool hair cuts.
