I didn't order the OMwF Buffy because I was holding out for End of Days version. I'm hoping that the Willow mock-up means the first Buffy sold well enough that they will put out the one I want soon.

I'm so tempted to upgrade my Flickr account. I hit my 200 photo limit a few months ago, so every time I upload something new, something old disappears. I think all of the old 501st @ The Library photos are MIA now. :( I do like the site. I thought of just starting a Picasa account, but it's so annoying to have photos all over.

Okay, if Diamond Select Toys doesn't change there mind again (they were supposed to be out in August) I should be getting the new BSG action figures this week or next! Diamond lists them as shipping on October 31st. But I dunno if that means Time & Space Toys will have them by then or not. Still, YAY! I love toys. Especially toys that I paid for like...6 months ago. Seriously, hook me up DST!

Chief doesn't ship until December though. Bah-humbug! (btw - did anyone catch his little cameo on 'Reaper' this week?)

Which reminds me, I need to renew my Buffy Collector Club membership. It's $50 to renew, and I can either get the Watcher boxed set with Giles/Wesley/Spike ("Randy Giles"), Puppet Vamp Angel, Puppet Spike, or $50 gift card....oh wait, frak it, I just looked and I think I'll get the $50 gift card and use it towards the Angel comic subscription! Huzzah! I mean, I don't really care about the special covers, I just want to own the comics!

Well, that was easy, thank you for reading as I worked through that, you were all a big help :P

Oh, and I broke down and bought the 'Uglies' boxed set that came out last week. I'm doing 'Uglies' for a teen "Book Banter" (that's our book discussion group) in November and I need to re-read it and take notes. So I figured I'd just buy the whole series because I love it so much...but Amazon had it on sale for $17...and I had to get the free shipping...so I bought 'Poltergeist' on DVD because that just got a re-release this week too! I adore that movie. The reviews for the re-release were not that great, but I don't own it at all, so anything is better than nothing (and it was only $10!)

And according to me email, it already shipped and it's halfway here! I might even have it in time for Halloween! *dances*

Okay, now to have a staredown with my MacBook and see if I have just made a really cool dvd...or a nice coaster.

Okay, my new Sims are going on vacation tomorrow! I was going to have them go today, but I wussed out. I made a girl/girl couple, both with the family aspiration so I can just adopt kids when they want them haha. I booked a vacation for the end of the week, but now it is bedtime so I must stop playing!

I did buy them a new house from the Bon Voyage package. It was a tiny, one room place meant to be a vacation home. Well, I went and spruced it up (with the help of a cheat code) and gave it a second story. So now they have this cute little house, and a newly adopted daughter!

But enough about Sims - I just got an email from the Buffy Sing-along list and it looks like it will be returning in November! They are holding open casting calls, I guess for people to host the karaoke and such. If I were braver, I would totally send in a video. I know that musical backwards and forwards. But I'd have to be pretty drunk courageous to record myself and send it in with the hopes of singing and dancing in front of an audience. (I could totally be Anya though...)

I really want to start entering icontests again. I was going strong for awhile and then just *boop* I stopped. I found a BSG one, now that I'm all caught up on the series, but I'm so bad with "concept" contests because there are no screencaps for me to save and remind myself I was going to enter! I had joined btvs_epicontest, but I'm just not fond of the caps they pick each week and can't get motivated. Bah humbug!

We're having a little Ice Cream social at work tomorrow (it's the anniversary of the invention of the Ice Cream cone this month!). So I best get to bed so I can wake up early, do my Buffy work out, then go eat ice cream for lunch!

Okay, this is so not cool - Diamond Select Toys has said they are cancelling the latest wave of Buffy figures. The wave I pre-ordered almost a YEAR AGO!!! And that has been delayed at least once. Ugh! I just want my gorram figures! They were supposed to be out this month and suddenly this! Just not cool.

They cancelled the "Revamped" series, but they just annouced that, so it's less of a shocker, and I don't think anyone was impressed with the figures. But this wave everyone has been waiting for! Ugh ugh ugh!

To make it worse, I've already PAID for these figures! Paid for them way back when I pre-ordered. Time & Space Toys says they are trying to work with DST to get them to release the figures, but I have a bad feeling about this :\

Apparently, Joss announced at Comic Con that the "Ripper" special will be made!!! Anthony Stewart Head & the BBC have signed on to make a 90 minutes "movie" about Giles pre-Buffy!

Some poor, unsuspecting soul came to the information desk today. heiland_coo and I were both at the desk, fresh off of watching 'Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered'. She asked if she could request a Buffy DVD.

It came out of nowhere. She couldn't have known. But the fangirling began. Slowly. I quickly assessed how much of a fan she was. heiland_coo ran for cover, pretending to look for a copy of 'Fray' while I began to giggle about 'Spin the Bottle' Wesley and 'Dancing Angel'.

Some how the patron survived, managed to put Season 5 on hold (outside the county, we sadly do not carry TV shows...except Brit coms...and Henson's Dinosaurs...). We'll see if she is brave enough to come back since she said she might want season 2 to relive the magic/evil of Angelus.

AND speaking of fangirling - why had no one alerted me to this!!!!

I'm pondering purchasing some comic book frames. I feel the need to put my Star Wars CIII poster away. Which will leave a HUGE amount of wall space open. I was thinking of hanging up the season 8 Buffy comic or (as jimithingy just suggested) maybe the entire set of 'Serenity' comics. (I'm still missing one!!! The 'Simon' cover! I should check the ol' ebay and see if I can find that last one...Oooh Cinequest has it for $3.99...hm....)

Anyone with a scanner that is not in a weird position (mine is crammed on top of my computer on a shelf, which makes it *unsafe* for my precious buffy comics) going to scan the pages for graphics? I'd love in on that. I want to make pretties!

I'm going to wait for my brain to reset and then I'll try for a more coherent "review" of the comic. But "whoa" just about covers it.
